We’ve never really dealt with, nor healed properly from apartheid. We’ve all just moved on. We sang Shosholoza and Madiba lifted the Webb Ellis trophy wearing Francois Pienaars jersey and suddenly we were all one happy rainbow nation with a beautiful flag and an anthem that was inclusive of everyone. The only people who dealt with the hurt and pain were The Arch and his group and the victims and perps at the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. That being said, things could’ve been a huge disaster and civil war could’ve reigned supreme. If there is anyone out there who will allow us to deal with what transpired by evil men years ago under an orange white and blue flag, then please come forward with your suggestions.
