Lance and Jeff
So one day I had an idea about 2 weeks later it happened 
I wanted to play a fun mixed game of indoor action cricket with myself, ex Bok and Stormers fullback Conrad Jantjes some other mense and then balance it out with winners from my website. At the end of the day we had myself, Conrad, Good Hope FM and Expresso’s Carl Waistie, Capetalk and Kfm’s Jeffrey Stevens, etv’s Lance Witten, two of the bloggers on this site Nelly and Reesie and then the rest was made up of winners from my website. What a fun evening! We scheduled it for Tuesday 5th June 2012 at 19h40 and by 7pm most everyone was there! Just a quick thank you to Johan and Waleed of Claremont Arena who made me feel at home as well as Soccer Laduma, zando.co.za and Wembley Roadhouse. Thank you to Global Screen Print! A huge thank you has to go to Adidas who made the night successful with awesome goodies in the bags which included Proteas t-shirts, adidas teez and shorts as well as caps! Then Indigo Brand in Epping who distribute adidas products came on board with awesome products for both men and women. And a special mention goes to Ajax CT Soccer Club for their goodies to fill the goody bags!

Then a huge thank you to the supporters, you know who you are! And out of nowhere a chat erupted on Twitter about cupcakes and samoosas and Wembley picked it up and provided us with savouries. And the best cupcakes in the world from Kelli and Melissa

A special mention has to go to Heart 104.9FM’s Sam Roy who was MC for the night as well as Nick Feinberg who pitched up to show support! It was also nice to see ex Cobras and Lions coach Shukri Conrad watch and give his commentary (which we’ll not discuss, afterward) Bobby D who does the car blog on the site, Bhavna Singh of etv as well as new Cobras player Chad Fortune was there too.
